Oftentimes one person's inspiration sparks a collaborative endeavor
among other like-minded, talented individuals. Such was the case
with the "Children of the Light" compact disc (CD),
produced in Germany in 1999. It all started three years earlier,
when Isa Lindwall received a message from Spirit Most High containing
the words that would eventually become the title song. He asked
his son-in-law, James Shaw, a lyricist/composer, to shape it into
lyrics and set it to music, a task James was able to complete
in one inspired afternoon. (Interestingly, this is the only song
James has ever composed using a piano keyboard instead of a guitar.)
James' recording of the piece was well received in Releasing workshops the Lindwalls conducted in Europe. When musicians Sabina Seelig and Birgit Liebfried heard it, they were moved to create their own version of the music for the lyrics-and eventually became the driving force behind the CD's production. Thanks to their generosity, and their ability to inspire more than twenty-five other talented musicians, vocalists and technicians, the CD was recorded and released in 1999. It has been enjoyed by workshop participants around the world ever since.
The "Children of the Light"
CD contains five tracks: three versions of the title song; "Universal
Prayer" (the Lindwall's prayer, received in 1980 and used
in every workshop, set to music); and "Colour Fall"
(a meditative instrumental composed by musician Rob Stem, Yolanda's
son). It is presently available as a complimentary gift from Lindwall
Foundation for each donation of $100 (U.S.) or more.
