PROFILE: The Lindwall Foundation,
Inc., established in 1998, is a tax exempt, nonprofit, publicly
supported organization administered by an elected Board of Directors
and Officers
ELIGIBILITY:
Activities: Operating funds, General support, Special projects
Organizations: Must be tax-exempt under I.R.C. Section 501(c) (3)
Priorities: The majority of the
Foundation's contributions focus on human and community services
programs and, to a lesser extent, arts and humanities, educational,
scientific, and health related organizations deemed to be in harmony
with the objectives of the Foundation.
Restrictions: The Foundation is not disposed to supporting individuals,
"goodwill" or journal advertisements, political campaigns,
conferences and surveys, or organizations designed primarily for
lobbying. The Foundation does not make more than one grant per
fiscal year to any one organization.
Procedures: Proposals are reviewed,
agencies investigated, budgetary requirements evaluated, and recommendation
made to the Foundation Board of Directors. Proposals are reviewed
in the fourth quarter and grants made in the following year.
PHILOSOPHY:
The mission of The Lindwall Foundation, Inc. is to enhance the quality of human life throughout the United States and the World through its support of human services, cultural, educational, scientific, and health related organizations. In addition the Foundation's goals include:
(i) establish an international network of like-minded people who will volunteer their services toward improving the quality of human life,
(ii) gather, research, and correlate the latest worldwide discoveries that advance this goal,
(iii) make information available to the general public,
(iv) train facilitators to conduct workshops and private consultations. The purposes of these activities is to educate and train people in the processes that help them to heal the past and live more fully, joyfully, creatively, and productively in the present.
